Sophia is our cockatoo of several years. Petey is a rescue who came to us from a terribly abusive situation. He knew no sunshine, no other parrots, and bonded to nothing but a mirror, being shoved in a cage in the dark for years. Since joining our little family he has just blossomed, especially under Sophia's gentle care.
