This Eleanora Cockatoo is a bundle of fun and energy. We met a few times before I took her picture, and she decided I was her Friend. She loved posing for the camera, but when she saw me holding another parrot she began bouncing up and down, protesting in that troll-cockatoo voice only 'too owners can appreciate!
In this shot she hasn't decided whether the small branch of leaves in my hand is friend or foe. Her crest is full as a mixed expression of caution and curiosity.
